Job Description:

Join our Tax services team in Kuala Lumpur as a Project Manager specializing in E-Invoicing. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations across unique and evolving tax specialties. You'll be advising clients on both local and overseas tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple small projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs.
  • Track project progress against established timelines and milestones, monitoring budget and resource utilization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to project success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Provide regular status and risk updates to manage client expectations.
  • Solicit and incorporate client feedback into project planning and execution to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with all levels of staff within the team and user communities.
  • Provide guidance, support, and feedback to junior team members.
  • Experience leading and motivating a cross-functional team while fostering a productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of proven working experience as an Agile Project Manager, preferably in a software development or API-focused environment.
  • Project management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented with an agile mindset.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and practical experience implementing Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello).
  • Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
