Job Description:
Save the Children Türkiye is seeking a Partnerships Assistant to support the implementation of its Country Strategic Plan through strong and strategic partnerships at the field office and country level. The successful candidate will ensure that Save the Children benefits from mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships to achieve joint objectives and results for children while strengthening civil society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support identification and relationship building with partners.
- Maintain relationships with existing partners.
- Support capacity building and civil society strengthening initiatives of SCI Türkiye Country Office.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in the humanitarian sector.
- Basic knowledge of civil society organizations, international NGOs, and government structures.
- Skills and knowledge in program cycle management, including design, development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Familiarity with basic legal and financial matters.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Power BI, online tools, etc.).
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish.
- Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Commitment to the values, mission, and principles of Save the Children.
- Experience in supporting programs in humanitarian and development contexts aimed at building the capacity of civil society organizations is highly desired.
- Good interpersonal and networking skills, including representation targeting external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Legal right to work in Turkey at the time of application.
