Background: UNDP’s Istanbul Regional Hub (IRH) seeks an ICT Intern to provide support to its IT unit, offering services to approximately 400 people. This internship presents an opportunity for graduate-level students to gain practical experience in administrative and operations processes while working with new technologies and an international team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT user support to internal clients in the regional office in Istanbul.
  • Configure technologies such as Digital Signage, IP Telephony, and others.
  • Conduct data mining and data analytics.
  • Configure operating systems and automate software installations (Windows and Mac OS).
  • Operate audio and video conferencing technologies.
  • Automate workflows using Office 365 tools (Sharepoint, Power Automate, etc.).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme or final year of a first university degree programme, or recently graduated with a university degree.
  • Any IT-related certificate is an asset.

  • Desire to work and gain experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in Turkish is an asset.

Notes:

  • Interns will receive stipends according to UN rules and regulations.
