Organizational Context:
Türkiye hosts a significant number of refugees, and WFP provides assistance to vulnerable populations across the country. WFP Türkiye’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP 2023-2025) focuses on assisting refugees, supporting humanitarian and development partners, and implementing livelihood programs.
Key Accountabilities (not all-inclusive):
- Conduct system and hardware maintenance tasks to ensure effective technology operation.
- Monitor technology reliability, analyze data, and produce reports to recommend IT solutions.
- Provide technical training to end-users and guidance to junior colleagues.
- Support new application implementation and draft technical documentation.
- Implement improvements to IT processes and coordinate telecommunications systems maintenance.
- Coordinate IT staff and follow emergency response procedures as required.
Standard Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum six years of progressively responsible experience in information technology or telecommunications.
- Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in system performance monitoring, cybersecurity measures, and IT documentation. Excellent communication skills in English and Turkish.
