Organizational Context:
Türkiye hosts a significant number of refugees, and WFP provides assistance to vulnerable populations across the country. WFP Türkiye’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP 2023-2025) focuses on assisting refugees, supporting humanitarian and development partners, and implementing livelihood programs.

Key Accountabilities (not all-inclusive):

  1. Conduct system and hardware maintenance tasks to ensure effective technology operation.
  2. Monitor technology reliability, analyze data, and produce reports to recommend IT solutions.
  3. Provide technical training to end-users and guidance to junior colleagues.
  4. Support new application implementation and draft technical documentation.
  5. Implement improvements to IT processes and coordinate telecommunications systems maintenance.
  6. Coordinate IT staff and follow emergency response procedures as required.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum six years of progressively responsible experience in information technology or telecommunications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in system performance monitoring, cybersecurity measures, and IT documentation. Excellent communication skills in English and Turkish.
