Job Description:
As an Interior Architect at our Middle East office, you will collaborate with the Business Group Manager for Design and Planning to lead and enhance our interior design capabilities, focusing on commercial office fit-outs, retail, and hospitality design. From conceptual development to project installation, you will be responsible for designing innovative and functional interior spaces, ensuring they meet project requirements and exceed client expectations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design of interior spaces from conceptual development to final documentation (IFC).
  • Collaborating with clients, project managers, and other design professionals to understand project requirements and develop suitable design solutions.
  • Developing concept, schematic, detailed design, tender, and IFC drawings, as well as specifications and other project documentation.
  • Presenting design concepts, mood boards, and visual representations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Managing project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and project partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentoring and training junior designers.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest interior design trends and technologies and incorporating them into project designs.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards for interior design projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design.
  • Strong design and technical knowledge.
  • Effective project organization skills and client management approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior designers.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards for interior design projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Sketchup.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for leading teams and delivering high-quality interior design projects.
