Job Description:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Hotel Driver is responsible for:
- Guest welcoming at arrival and departure
- Luggage delivery to rooms
- Parking clients' cars
- Driving the shuttle bus to the village or ski lifts (if applicable)
- Tidying up guests' ski equipment (if applicable)
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license: A clean and valid driver's license is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a hospitality or service-related industry, is often required.
- Knowledge of local area: Familiarity with the local area, including key landmarks, attractions, and routes, is beneficial.
- Customer service skills: Good communication and customer service skills are important for interacting with guests courteously and professionally.
- Safety consciousness: Demonstrated adherence to safe driving practices and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the hotel's operational needs.
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift and carry luggage and assist guests with their belongings as needed.
- Clean driving record: A clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations is typically required.
- Language skills: Proficiency in the local language and, optionally, additional languages spoken by guests can be advantageous.
- Professional appearance: A neat and presentable appearance is important for creating a positive impression on guests.
