Overview:

As a Food Service Supervisor at Subway, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. We are seeking an experienced individual who can effectively supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and are skilled in maintaining quality control standards, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules

Supervision: 5-10 people (including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers)

  • Work conditions and physical capabilities include a fast-paced environment, working under pressure, tight deadlines, a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, and physically demanding tasks.
