Job Summary/Basic Function:
This position includes primary teaching responsibilities in the Automotive Engineering Technology (AET) program such as automotive drive trains, automotive chassis, body control systems, engine fuels and lubricants, engine thermodynamics, advanced vehicle technologies, and advanced automotive electronics and computer management. Other responsibilities include serving on university committees, curriculum development/improvement, advising students academically, performing appropriate scholarly research, and professional service within the guidelines of the University.

Specific Responsibilities:
Teaching courses in Automotive Engineering Technology, serving on university committees, curriculum development/improvement, advising students academically, performing scholarly research, and professional service within the guidelines of the University.

Required Relevant Education & Experience:

  • An earned PhD degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields. ABD is acceptable but the PhD must be completed by May 2024.
