Job Description: A friendly Dubai-based family is seeking an experienced and qualified governess/governor to work with three children aged 9, 11, and 13. The children are fluent in English, Chinese, French, and Russian. The primary responsibility of the governess/governor will be high-level tutoring, including assistance with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, homework help, and preparation for overseas study. The candidate should be well-versed in secondary IB education and capable of preparing the children for university enrollment abroad. The working schedule is typically 4-8pm Mondays to Thursdays and 12-8pm on Fridays, with travel during the summer.

Candidate Requirements:

  • PGCE or equivalent qualification
  • Experience tutoring or working in an international school
  • Additional experience in a governor position preferred
  • Thorough understanding of secondary IB curriculum
  • High level of English proficiency
  • Fun, energetic, firm, and fair personality
  • Calm, well-presented, with good moral values
  • Ability to bond with children and provide general support
